At the Alternative Veterinary Medicine Centre, we advise on natural feeding for every patient, whatever the species, as part of our holistic veterinary service. We do this whichever therapy we may be using for a particular patient (i.e. homeopathy, acupuncture, herbal medicine, chiropractic or other therapy), since we believe that this is the surest platform upon which to build health.

Our advice, whichever species we are treating, is loosely based on the very simple concept that the diet of the nearest wild species is likely to be the healthiest, since it has served that species for thousands of years and the species evolved to deal with it and alongside it. Conversely, manufactured, 'scientific' and processed food has only been around for a half-century or less and no species has evolved to deal with it, let alone some of the novel patent chemicals that are included therein.

We also do house calls or home visits around the UK, for dogs, cats and other small animals.

We visit around the UK for horses, ponies, donkeys, goats, farm animals etc.

We offer a Video Consultation Service for those for whom the travel is impractical, for reasons of distance, foreign residence, disability, illness etc.

We sell books on natural medicine and natural feeding, many of which have been written by Christopher Day MRCVS.

We offer lectures on various topics, including homeopathy, acupuncture, natural feeding, animal welfare, horse pasture management for health, animal experimentation (vivisection) etc.
